Designed to Disappear.
Lumaclare started as a personal art project: large, clear planters made for our founder’s own home. The idea was to show the plants and everything beneath them. As the designs took shape, they became something worth sharing. Five years went into finding the right acrylic and working out how to cut and polish it to get the clarity and finish just right.

For Rick, even an everyday household object should feel special. Trained in finance, he changed direction to a more creative life and has spent the last 20 years as a product designer. He loves style combinations and mixing eras.
Creative Director
Sharon’s passion for design grew through years of hands-on experience with home remodeling. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in education with an emphasis on school psychology. Drawn to the creative possibilities of interiors, she chose to pursue a path in design.
